Waste lig. from biomass gasification (digestate) was infected with Clostridium sporogenes spores and then disinfected with H2O2, NaOH or CaO under lab. conditions. The use of disinfectants did not result in complete elimination of bacterial spores during exp. NaOH (6%) showed the highest hygienization efficiency.
