Graphite modified AlNbO4 with enhanced lithium - Ion storage behaviors and its electrochemical mechanism
Graphite modified AlNbO4 composite (ANO/G) with monoclinic structure is successfully synthesized using coprecipitation method. The electrochemical measurements show ANO/G exhibits excellent structural stability during the discharge/charge process and ANO particles anchored on graphite effectively improve the capacity of AlNbO4. Compared with bare ANO, the ANO/G delivers an initial capacity of 374.8 mAh g(-1) and retains reversible 0.67 Li per unit formula after 80 cycles. The lithium-ion reaction with AlNbO4 mechanisms are proposed and Li+ inserted into the lattice and formed the LixAlNbO4 when discharging, and recover during the charging process.
