Pea was foliar fertilized with ag. solns. of (NH4)(6)Mo7O24 or/and lipochitooligosaccharides (LCO) recovered from Rhizobium leguminosarum bacteria. The fertilization resulted in an increase in the mass and no. of root nodules, nitrogenase activity, no. of pods in a plant and seed yield.
