Electrospinning 에 의한 초극세 섬유의 제조 및 응용
Production and Application of Ultrafine Fibers by Electrospinning
Very small diameter fibers ranging in diameter from a few ten nanometers to a few microns were produced by electrospinning process. Electrospinning occurs when the electrical forces at the surface fo a polymer melt or polymer solution overcom the surface tension and cause and electrically charged jet to be ejected. When the jet dries or solidifies, and electrically charged fiber remains. This charged fiber can be directed by electrical forces and then collected in grounded sheet. Electrospun fibers from polymer melt or soultion provide a very large surface area per unit mass due to their small diameter. This paper describes the electrospinning process, fiber morphology and some possible uses of electrospun fibers.
