Four com. emulsion poly(vinyl chloride) samples were plastified by addn. of 4 cont plastificators (120% by mass), gelled at 140 degrees C or 160 degrees C for 50 min and studied for softening temp., crystallinity, tensile strength and hardness. The softening temps. were 23-28 degrees C, reL hardness was 0.03-0.15, max. breaking stress was 1.3-5.8 MPa, reL elongation at break 105-219% and crystallinity 19-416%. No significant correlations were found.
