A novel porous epoxy acrylate resin monolith prepared by the low-temperature phase separation photopolymerization
A novel porous epoxy acrylate resin monolith has been successfully prepared by low-temperature phase separation photoinitiated polymerization. The process parameters of low-temperature photopolymerization, including photoinitiators type, concentration, and sample thickness were studied. The optimum conditions for the preparation of the sample were also evaluated. The results showed that the porous morphology of the prepared monolith was affected by monomer concentration, freezing speed and temperature of the solution. The average pore size increased with increasing solvent amount, decreasing freezing temperature and speed.
