On the rheological nature of drag reduction phenomena
A critical discussion of the so-called ＇momentum deficit＇ of drag reducing flows is followed by a simple unequivocal demonstration for the claim that the drag reduction phenomena in a number of fluid systems are of distinctly rheological nature.
