The titled exts. were added to nonionic and anionic surfactants-contg. shampoo formulations and studied then for their cosmetic properties (pH, viscosity, detergency and foaming). The addn. of Urtica dioica extract into the shampoo formulations did not significantly affect the cleansing properties of the cosmetics but resulted in a decrease in their viscosity. The addn. of Saponaria officinalis root extract resulted in increase of the foam stability and decrease in the viscosity of the formulations.
