Adaptation of the Mehlich 3 procedure for routine determination of phosphorus, potassium and magnesium in soil
The Mehlich 3 method based on calorimerty and flame photometry was used detn P, K and Mg contents in soil and compared with the Egner-Riehm ans Schachtschabel methods. The results were intercorrelated. The Mehlich 3 procedure was faster than the other ones, showed lower reagent, labor, water and energy consumption and was recommended for practical use in agrochem.
