The CO2-contg. atm. (32% by vol.) in a fire test chamber (height 2.8 m) was exchanged by exhaust ventilation with a multiplicity 5-20/h to det. time necessary to decrease the CO2 concn. down to below 4% by vol. The null hypotesis (24 min) was valid for the exchange multiplicity 5/h and 10/h.
