The physico-chemical properties of some liquid crystalline 2,5-disubstituted pyridine derivatives have been studied with the establishment oftheirstructure-property relationships. The results of this work have been compared with thoseof the corresponding reference compounds. Some of the presented 2,5-disubstitutedderivatives can be considered as the suitable components of liquid crystal materials for display applications.
