다양한 고체산 촉매를 사용한 페놀의 tert-부틸레이션
tert-Butylation of phenol over various solid acid catalysts
Recently, catalytic alkylation of phenol using solid acid catalysts have been studied to overcome the disadvantages of homogeneous catalysts such as equipment corrosion and pollution of the environment. In this study, solid acid catalysts used are zeolite H-beta, H-13X, H-Y, Al-KIT-1, Si-KIT-1, clay. The main products are 4-t-butylphenol, 2-t-butylphenol, 2,4-t-butylphenol. It is revealed in this study that zeolite H-beta has higer phenol conversion and para-selectivity than others. Also, the seletivity to 2,4-di-t-butylphenol of the Al-KIT-1 is higher as compared to that of the other catalysts.
