There ard many techniques for separation and recovery of Platinum group metals(PGM) from a acidic solution. In this paper, column experiments were carried out to investigate ion exchange characteristics of PGM in the packed column with ion enchange resins such as IRN 78 and Dowex 1x8 etc. The effects of ionic group of resins and feed rate were investigated. And the characteristics of elution by nitric acid, thiourea and hydrochloric acid solution was also studied.
