Development of Catalytic Burner for a Domestic Boiler
We have developed a domestic boiler which the combustiom is adopted stabilised catalytic burner in high temperature. In a domestic boiler, the burner is used by the ceramic honeycomb coated Pd-NiO/Al2O3 catalyst. The maximum heat flux reaches 27.3kcal/cm2hr and emitted 0ppm NOx, 0ppm CO and 20ppm CH4. The surface temperature of the catalytic burner ranges from 500 to 910 ℃. Therefore, even temperature profile plays an important role of factor in the scale-up design.
