Isothermal Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium for the Binary System of 2,3,3,3-Tetrafluoropropene and 2-Chloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropane
The vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) of the binary system of 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234yf) and 2-chloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropane (HCFC-244bb) was measured at three temperatures from (293.15 to 313.15) K. The measurements were performed with an apparatus based on the static-analysis method. By analyzing the VLE data, the binary system shows a small deviation from the Raoults law, and does not exhibit the azeotropic behavior over the range of investigated temperatures. In addition, the experimental VLE data were correlated with the Peng-Robinson equations of state with the Huron-Vidal mixing rules. Good consistency was obtained between the experimental and correlated values at each experimental isothermal.
