Transport Properties of Anions Across Polymeric Separation Membrane
Anion moving in the aqueous solution and diffusion through the anion exchange membrane with functional group that role of the strong basic exchanger group for selected anion compound materials has been actively reported. In this work polymeric anion exchange membrane which contained copolymer of chloromethylstyrene and divinylbenzene with trimethylamine, were prepared.
The anion exchange membrane having exchanger groups with hydrophobic properties were examined and the ion transport of ClO4, NO3, Br, and Cl relative to OH with AMH membrane by Tokuyama Soda Co. Ltd.. It is also the case with the AMH permeable membrane studied for containing ClO4, NO3, Br, Cl solution in present two component system before above[1]. The results were several membrane parameters were estimated the correlation between the ion diffusion and Donnan potential across ion exchange membrane.
