A Stochastic Model for the Dynamics of Combustion Fronts in Porous Media
Based on an analytical deterministic model previously developed, a probabilistic model is constructed to describe the behavior of the heat wave that propagates through the porous medium. As a first approximation in this article, it is considered that the coefficient advective (speed of the wave front) is a spatially random variable characterized by well-defined statistical parameters. The effects on this wave when noise multiplicative is introduced in the front velocity with a correlation coefficient exponentially decaying has been studied.
