Synthesis and Adsorption Characteristics or Uranium for MR types of Cation Exchange resins Containing Phosphoric Acid Groups (II).
The effect of degree of crosliking and amount of diluent on the adsorption equilibrium, rate and mechanism adsorption of uranium for MR type RGP resins were investigated. The adsorption equilibrium and rate of diluent on RGP resins were effected by degree of crossliking and amount of diluent.
The order of recovey of uranium with RGP resin is as follows;
RGP-10(50) > RGP-1(50) > RGP-2(50) > RGP-5(50) > RGP-0(50). As tile adsorption equilibrium of RGP were correlated with Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm and the mechanism of adsorption of uranium on RGP type resin were elucidated as intraparticle diffusion controlling and effective pore and. surface diffusivities were 0.158∼6.357×10-5 cm2/sec and 0.119∼27.63×10-10 cm2/sec respectively.
