PLATO(c) software for offshore risk assessment: a critique of the combustion features incorporated
PLATO(C) is a software package which can be used to assess offshore risks and simulate escalation in the event that an incident such as hydrocarbon leakage takes place. Combustion features built into the package appertain to three sorts of behaviour: jet fires, pool fires and fireballs. In this paper we examine the way in which PLATO(C) represents each of these.
