Flat polyethlene films (23 mu m) were produced under corn. conditions by extrusion and casting of a blend of the polymer with an adhesive and a masterbatch at 270 degrees C, stretched up to 150% and studied for mech. puncture. The masterbatch content contributed mostly to the film quality.
