Concns. of particulate matter, 4 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, naphthalene, anthracene, volatile org. compds., PhH, PhMe and MeH were detd. on the coke oven battery roof. The exptl. data were correlated by using multiple linear regression method to resp. models used for prediction of the emission from a limited no. of measurements. The models were used as a basis for development of a reliable emission monitoring system validated under industrial conditions.
