An impedance study of the metal sulfide CuxZn((1-x))S vertical bar electrolyte interface
Several equivalent circuit models have been considered in the literature for the analysis of the ac impedance spectra of a semiconductor I solution interface. Especially for the case of a semiconductor metal sulfide of the system CuxZn(1-x)S the electrical analog of the construction leads to a frequency dependent behavior which has revealed the need for a different method of analysis. An equivalent circuit consisting of an infinite number of series RSSCSS elements in parallel, having overlapping time constants and suggesting a continuous distribution of relaxation times, is proposed. Fitting of the experimental data along with a preliminary estimation for the characteristic parameters N-D and V-FB of the specific cell has shown the suitability of the method.
