Ethylene Oligomerization Using Bis(imino)pyridinecobalt(H) Complexes Immobilized in Fluorotetrasilicic Mica Inter layer as Heterogeneous Catalysts
Heterogeneous bis(imino)pyridinecobalt(II) catalysts were prepared by direct reaction of cobalt-ion-exchanged fluorotetrasilicic mica and a bis(imino)pyridine ligand. The catalyst prepared from the ligand with 2-CF3Ph groups on the imino nitrogen showed high activity in ethylene oligomerization, with excellent selectivity for alpha-olefins.
