ESR-Electrochemistry in-Situ Studies on Chemically-Modified Electrodes
A carbon powder electrode was chemically modified with two phenols. Its oxidized products, quinones, were studied by voltammetry and in-situ ESR techniques. The surface quinones were reduced through the semiquinone. Their possible surface configurations were inferred from the ESR spectra.
