Study on the Separation and Properties of Blackberry Pigment from Blackberry Wastes
A novel separation and purification method, macroporous adsorption resins (MARs) mixed bed was adopted to achieve high purity blackberry pigment from blackberry waste. First, the optimum MAR mixed bed for blackberry pigment was selected based on evaluation and the separation effect of 19 sorts of MARs. The results showed that MAR mixed bed AB-8 + DM18 + ADS-17 performed better separation effect on blackberry pigment than others. After that, the related adsorption/desporption conditions were optimized systematically. Thereafter, some properties of the blackberry pigment, such as chromogenic characteristics, thermal stability, pH stability, and oxidation-reduction stability were studied, respectively. Moreover, the enrichment effect of the blackberry pigment was also evaluated by calculating the color bid before and after separation. Besides, adsorption kinetics of the blackberry pigment was also analyzed.
