Effect of the extractant type on the recovery of phosphorus from spent horticultural mineral wool
Spent mineral wool from horticultural prodn. was extd. with H2O, and aq. solns. of AcOH, HCOOH, panthotenic acids, NH4 and Ca lactates, CaCl2 and Na versenate at 25 degrees C and 70 degrees C. H2O was the most efficient solvent for extn. The P2O5 concn. in the ext. was 0.4% by mass.
