New Chiral Catalyst for Asymmetric Alkylation of Aldehydes with Diethylzinc
Asymmetric alkylation of aromatic aldehydes with diethylzinc in the presence of catalytic amount of chiral thiazolidines derived from L-cysteine ethyl ester afforded the corresponding optically active secondary alcohols.
