In this paper, the sputtering processes of Ag ultrafine particles (Ag UFP) have been theoretically analyzed, and the random field equation satisfied by the size distribution function of Ag UFP has been established. Moreover, the general solution of the random field equation is applied to our sputtering conditions. We used this concrete solution to simulate the sputtering-experiment data of Ag UFP.
