Theoretical study of positron annihilation in nanoclusters in Al-Cu system
Positron annihilation at Cu-rich nanoclusters in the Al-Cu system is studied theoretically. For this purpose we employ the atomic superposition method and shift the positron potential at the nanocluster's place by a certain amount related to the positron affinity difference of the At host and the nanocluster. In general, this approach appears to be very efficient for calculations of properties of positrons annihilating in embedded nanoclusters.
