Hypereutectic RS/PM Al-Si-X alloys
Hypereutectic Al-Si materials alloyed with intermetallic, non-equilibrium state (Fe, Cu, Ni, Mg) phases exhibit low thermal extension and good mechanical properties. The typical alloys' characteristics are summarized, with especial regard to the 26%Si 6%Ni "MicroAlu" materials.
