Spin disclinations and other inhomogeneous states for a magnetic particles: Classical properties and quantum tunneling
Fine magnetic particles in inhomogeneous states caused by different types of surface anisotropy are investigated. For antiferromagnetic particles with atomic dislocation special non-homogeneous states like spin disclinations are found. Analytically and numerically spin distributions in such particles are established. Quantum tunneling effects are considered by use of non-one-dimensional instantons.
