Low frequency magnetoimpedance effect has been observed in Co68.1F4.4Si12.5B15 amorphous wires. The reactive and resistive components of impedance have been obtained for frequencies up to 110 kHz, for studying their behaviour as a function of the applied magnetic field. Both components show different tendencies at low frequencies, due to their different origin.
