Positron diffusion trapping model with an external magnetic field
A Monte Carlo simulation of the positron diffusion, in a constant external magnetic field, in grained materials were performed. Our interest was focused on the dependence of the fraction of positrons reaching grain surfaces, of different shapes. on value and direction of the magnetic field. It was shown that magnetic field in the range to 2 T significantly reduce the number of positrons reaching the surface.
