Anisotropy of dislocation distribution and long-range internal stresses
In this paper, we present the investigations of the dislocation distribution in a cold rolled copper multicrystal in terms of: (i) the variation of the outer cut-off radius of dislocations and (ii) the crystallographic dependence of the X-ray peak profile asymmetry which has been correlated to internal strains of long-range character. In all grains, the outer cut-off radius of the dislocations and the internal strains have been found to vary strongly with the diffraction vectors. This result reveals the strong anisotropy of the dislocation distribution generated by cold rolling. It is shown that these two aspects are not independent and they almost vary in the same sense.
