Densities for Liquid Ethanol in the Temperature-Range from 310 K to 480 K at Pressures Up to 200 MPa
Density measurements at given temperatures and pressures in the compressed liquid phase for ethanol were carried out with a metal-bellows variable volumomerer along eight isotherms between 310 K and 480 K at pressures from the vapor pressure to 200 MPa. The results cover the high-density region from 536 kg . m(-3) to 882 kg . m(-3). The experimental uncertainties of temperature T, pressure p, and density rho were estimated to be +/-4mK, +/-0.0010 . p, and +/-0.0010 . rho, respectively. Measurements of saturated liquid density at temperatures from 320 K to 480 K are also reported. The isothermal compressibility and isobaric expansivity on the basis of the present results are presented.
