Activity of MgO in ((1-X)Mgo+xb(2)O(3)), Determined by (Slag Plus Metal) Equilibrium at the Temperature 1723 K, Using Germanium as Metal Solvent
(Slag + metal) equilibrium experiments have been made for the determination of activity of MgO in the {(1 - x)MgO + xB(2)O(3)} binary slag at the temperature T = 1723 K, using germanium as metal solvent. The activity of B2O3 was calculated analytically from the Gibbs-Duhem equation.
