Excess volumes of (1,2-dichloroethane or 1,2-dibromoethane + each of several isomers of butanol) have been determined from density measurements at the temperatures 298.15 K and 313.15 K using an Anton-Paar densimeter. The results show that excess volumes are positive over the whole composition range for all mixtures at both temperatures.
