Synthesis and Characterizaion of Biodegradable Crosslinked Copolyesters: Poly(1,4-butanediol-co-malate)s
E-mail:
The biodegradable crosslinked poly(1,4-butanediol-co-L-malate)s(XL-PBLMs) were synthesized using Krebs cycle acids for biomedical applications. The synthesized copolyesters were indentified by FT-IR spectrophotomer. The glass transition temperatures of XL-PBLMs were 3.3℃ in XL-PBLM10, 3.9℃ in XL-PBM12, and 4.9℃ in XL-PBLM14, respectively. The swelling ratios of the crosslinked copolyesters were measured in various pH aqueous solutions at 37℃. The swelling degrees of the crosslinked copolyester increased in the order of XL-PBLM12 XL-PBLM14XL-PBLM12>XL-PBLM14.
