Morphology and electro-optic properties of poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile)/nematic liquid crystal (SAN/LC) composite films of heavy LC loadings have been measured in response to the applied AC electric voltage and frequency. The effect of temperature on the off-state transmittance during heating and cooling was also evaluated.
