Magnetic behavior in the CaMn3O6 nanoribbons
We have presented a detailed study of the magnetic properties of single crystalline CaMn3O6 nanoribbons prepared via the molten salt synthesis method. Magnetization measurements show that these nanoribbons exhibit antiferromagnetic ordering with uncompensated spins at the surface due to spin canting at 125 K. By a careful analysis for the paramagnetic region in the magnetization curve, we find there is a tiny anomaly around 240 K, where the inverse magnetic susceptibility changes its slope apparently; the linear fits to the Curie-Weiss law indicate there exists the charge ordering state.
