Novel Pt-complex-bound oligo(glutamic acid)s were synthesized by two different routes: postmetalation of peptides and stepwise conjugation of metalated amino acids. Sonication-induced supramolecular gel formation of a N- and C-dual-alkylated Pt-bound tripeptide was observed in EtOAc and toluene.
