Electric Conductivity of Nanoparticle Composites Coated with Oxidized Aminothiophenol and Adhered on Resin Plates
The successful adhesion of Au nanoparticles, which are coated with oxidized o-aminothiophenol on resin and glass plates, was attained by soaking the plates in a nanoparticle solution. The residual-free amino function group of aminothiophenol was used for the polymerization reaction among the aniline derivatives chemically modified on Au surfaces. The resulting polymeric aniline derivative sheet combined on the surfaces of the Au particles connects the particles electrically and thus induces high electric conductivity in the nanoparticle composites.
