Dual-sugar Nanogel Comprising beta-1,3-Glucan and Cholesterol-bearing Dextran for Protein Delivery Targeting Antigen Presenting Cells
A dual-sugar nanogel containing proteins was prepared by a simple mixing of schizophyllan (SPG) in NaOH (0.25 M), cholesterol-hydrophobized dextran (CH-CDex) in NaH2PO4 solution, and BSA. It was found that this nanogel was specifically taken up by SPG receptors present on antigen presenting cells.
