Method of Calculating and Optimizing a Fractionating Absorber Having a Circulatory Irrigating System
An algorithm that takes account of the specific nature of absorptive heat generation associated with the quantity and sorptivity of the absorbed components of the feedstock of an absorber is proposed for calculating the ratio of heat extraction by circulatory irrigation. The article examines the principle behind optimizing a fractionating absorber with a circulatory irrigation system by balancing the cost of cooling the circulating liquid in the irrigation system profit against the additional quantities of end products that are recovered from the feedstock.
