Excess molar volumes and viscosities of diethylene glycol diethyl ether with dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, and propylene carbonate at (298.15, 308.15, and 318.15) K
Excess molar volumes, V-m(E), and viscosities, eta, have been measured for the binary mixtures diethylene glycol diethyl ether + dimethyl carbonate, + diethyl carbonate, and + propylene carbonate at temperatures of(298.15, 308.15, and 318.15) K and atmospheric pressure over the whole range of mixture compositions. The excess molar volumes are fitted to a Redlich-Kister type polynomial equation to derive the binary coefficients and estimate the standard errors between the experimental and calculated quantities. The experimental results are compared with those of previous studies for binary mixtures containing esters of carbonic acid.
