Vapor-Liquid-Equilibria, Excess Molar Enthalpies, and Excess Molar Volumes of Dialkyl Carbonates Plus Methyl tert-Butyl Ether at 298.15 K
Vapor-liquid equilibria, VLE, excess molar enthalpies, H-m(E), and excess molar volumes, V-m(E), for dimethyl and diethyl carbonate + methyl tert-butyl ether have been determined at 298.15 K and at atmospheric pressure. VLE data were tested for thermodynamic consistency and were correlated by the Wilson, NRTL, and Redlich-Kister equations. The Redlich-Kister polynomial was used to correlate H-m(E) and V-m(E) values. Parameters and least-squares analysis of the results have been reported.
