Study on Solvent Extraction of Mongolia Outcrop Oil Sands
A solvent extraction method was used to process Mongolia outcrop oil sands. The best experimental extraction reagent was 120(#) solvent oil. In the extraction experiment, effects of extraction temperature, the ratio of extraction agent to oil sands, and the extraction time were studied. The results showed that when the extraction temperature was 75 degrees C, the extraction agent to oil sand ratio was 3:1 and extraction time was 40 min; the oil extraction rate can reach above 95%. Solvent oil can be recycled and reused. This method is economically feasible for the development and utilization of oil sands.
