Extended Model for Theoretical Determination of Mass Transfer Coefficients in Multiphase Flows - Part 2
The design of multiphase reactors as well as the control over superimposed chemical reactions is still a challenge. With regard to theoretically estimated mass transfer coefficients recent research findings offer promising options. A new extended model was presented in the first part of this paper. Here, experimental results of mass transfer and hydrodynamics in a two-phase jet-loop reactor, and calculated mass transfer coefficients are compared for validation of practical applicability.
