Solubility of Toluene in Aqueous-Solutions of Sodium Butyl Monoglycol Sulfate in the Presence of Various Alcohols
The miscibilities of toluene in systems containing aqueous solutions of sodium butyl monoglycol sulfate (NaBMGS) and various alcohols have been determined at 30 degrees C. The solubility of toluene depends on the similarities in the structures of the alcohols and NaBMGS and consequently increases when they are almost identical.
