Effect of composition of absorption solution on carbon dioxide removal efficiency
Aq. solns. of primary, secondary, tertiary and sterically hindered amines were used for absorption of gaseous CO2 in presence of org. lig. at 20-60 degrees C. The mixt. of primary and sterically hindered amine showed the highest absorption capacity, higher even than the capacity of usually used NH2CH2CH2OH.
